Third-Party Testing & Certificate of Analysis

Purity claims mean nothing without proof. Every batch of every compound we sell is independently tested before it ships — not by us, by a certified third-party analytical laboratory.

01

HPLC-UV Purity Analysis

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with UV detection separates the peptide from synthesis byproducts, solvent residuals, and other impurities. The integrated peak area of the target compound is expressed as a percentage of total peak area. We require >98% purity before a batch is approved for sale.

02

Mass Spectrometry Identity Confirmation

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) confirms the molecular weight of the compound matches the theoretical mass of the target peptide. This rules out substitution, truncated sequences, or mis-labelled vials.

03

Certificate of Analysis (COA)

A COA is issued for every lot number, documenting: product name, lot number, test date, analytical method, purity result, and identity result. COAs are batch-specific — not a single document reused across orders.

04

Lyophilization Under Controlled Conditions

After quality approval, compounds are lyophilized (freeze-dried) to remove residual solvent and maximize shelf stability. Lyophilized peptides stored at −20°C maintain bioactivity for years. Each vial is sealed under inert gas and foil-wrapped for light and moisture protection.

Testing FAQ

What does ≥98% HPLC purity mean?

HPLC purity measures the percentage of the target peptide relative to all detectable compounds in the sample. A result of ≥98% means at least 98% of the material is the correct peptide — with less than 2% coming from synthesis byproducts or impurities. We reject any batch that falls below this threshold.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A COA is a batch-specific document from the analytical lab confirming identity and purity. It includes: product name, lot number, test date, analytical method, purity percentage, and identity confirmation via mass spectrometry. Every lot we sell has its own COA — we do not reuse a single document across batches.

Is the testing lab accredited?

Yes — all testing is performed by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited third-party laboratory. ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for testing laboratory competence, covering both technical competence and management system requirements. Testing is never performed in-house.

What is ESI-MS identity confirmation?

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) confirms the molecular weight of the compound matches the theoretical mass of the target peptide. This rules out substitution, truncated sequences, or mislabelled vials — guaranteeing the compound is exactly what is stated on the label.
