RAD-140 Powder — Research Overview

RAD-140 (Testolone) is a potent non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) with some of the highest reported AR binding affinity in the class. Originally developed by Radius Health, RAD-140 has been investigated in preclinical models of muscle wasting, androgen-sensitive cancer, and neuroprotection.

Mechanism of Action

RAD-140 binds the androgen receptor with high affinity and selectivity, activating anabolic signalling in muscle and bone tissue while demonstrating reduced androgenic activity in prostate and skin compared to testosterone. It also activates AR in neural tissue — rodent studies have shown RAD-140 to be neuroprotective against amyloid-beta toxicity and excitotoxic lesions, an area of active academic research.

Powder Format for Research

Raw powder format is the preferred delivery for in vitro cell culture experiments, compound dissolution studies, and custom formulation research (oral suspension, DMSO solution, or injectable preparation). 1g provides substantial quantity for extended research programs. Standard research solubilisation: dissolve in DMSO (50mg/mL), then dilute to working concentration in PBS or cell culture media.

Selectivity Profile
